TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — Raymond James Stadium is going to the dogs this weekend.
The You Must Love Dogs Halloween Fest is being held Saturday, October 1st, and thousands are expected to attend alongside their four-legged companions.
The all-day event includes a doggy costume contest, national pet vax unit for vaccinations and immunizations, fire safety demonstration, dog sledding adventure, dog grooming, world champion frisbee dogs, K-9 training demos and much more.
“It benefits the Humane Society of Pinellas and there will be a lot of dog rescues out there like K9 Estates from Palm Harbor, so this is all for a good cause,” said event organizer Kris Rotonda.
The event kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning and runs until 7 p.m.
