Ever been fascinated by hurricanes or wondered how in the world people fly safely into them?
The USAF and NOAA Hurricane Hunters will be making a stop at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport Friday.
The public can tour the Hurricane Hunter aircraft, speak with the pilots, and walk through vendor exhibits from various local agencies and organizations.
The event is part of the Hurricane Hunter Tour, encouraging the public to prepare for the upcoming season.
The event is FREE and is open to the public 2-5 pm at the Lakeland Linder Airport.
