LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) – Lakeland police are searching for a porch pirate who stole a package valued at approximately $1,000.

According to police, on Jan. 31, between 9:22 a.m. and 11 a.m., the man removed a package that was delivered to a home on Dane Court.

The package contained 100 sweatbands and tank tops valued around $1,000.

The man is described as being tall and slender and is in his late 20s to early 30s.

He has short, dark hair and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue shorts and gray shoes.

The vehicle he was traveling in appears to be an older model blue Jeep Cherokee with a black grill.
