POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is pleading for the safe return of a dog and three puppies that were stolen from a home in Winter Haven.

Fig, a 3-year-old black and white bulldog and her three 3-week-old puppies were taken during a burglary in the 200 block of Escambia Drive on Saturday, along with other items, deputies said. 

The dog is valued at $2,500. 

“The puppies are of course priceless – and by the way, who steals puppies???!!!!” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
