Pasco County’s supervisor of elections says some of the county’s voters are being targeted by potentially misleading mailers.

Nearly 13-thousand voters in the county could be getting mailings soon with outdated or incorrect data from two Washington, D.C.-based organizations: Voter Participation Center (VPC) and Center for Voter Information (CVI).

Pasco officials said those groups have made voters angry in the past by mailing pre-filled voter registration applications to voters who are already registered, deceased family members, under-age children and even pets.

Neither the county nor the state have anything to do with these mailers, according to a news release sent to 8 On Your Side.

Voters who have any issue with them should contact the organizations directly at the numbers listed below.
VPC: 877-255-6750
CVI: 202-766-6575
