TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) –  UPDATE | Police have located an 84-year-old man who was reported missing in Tampa. 

Authorities say Jacinto Ramirez is safe and was reunited with family. Further information was not available. 

ORIGINAL STORY | Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 84-year-old Tampa man with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Jacinto Ramirez was last seen at a family home in the area of North Marks Street and East Bird Street, wearing a cream-colored baseball hat, white long sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.

Ramirez is described as a 5 feet 6 inches male, weighing approximately 160 pounds.

Police said he suffers from Alzheimer’s, dementia, and is hard of hearing. He is known to walk frequently and enjoys riding the bus, police said.
