ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) —Orlando police arrested a Dollar Tree employee Wednesday who they say filmed a woman while she used the bathroom at the store where he worked.
The woman called police after she found a cellphone that she believed was recording her in a restroom during her visit to the store.
The victim told police she stopped at the Dollar Tree on Narcoossee Road to buy her son some balloons, and while inside she asked to use the restroom.
Employee Aaron Krone initially asked the woman to accompany him to the front of the store for the key and after stalling for several minutes, told the woman he had to grab some toilet paper.
When the victim found the phone she took it to the front of store, asked to speak with the manager and then called police.
When confronted by officers, Krone told police them he “had done a terrible thing,” police said. Krone admitted to punching holes in a box so he could conceal his phone and make the recording, police said.
Krone is charged with felony third-degree video voyeurism, police said.
