ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A shooting in St. Petersburg left a mother of two dead and two others injured Sunday night, police said.
Police said the three victims were shot at about 10:15 p.m. in the area of 13th Avenue South and 26th Street South near the Wildwood Park area.
The mother, Emily Renee Grot, 35, of St. Petersburg died. A man was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and a 17-year-old girl suffered a minor injury.
Police are asking those with information about the shooting to call detectives at 727-893-7780.
