ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist and other local leaders are calling on Gov. Ron DeSantis to take action toward Florida’s association with the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6.
According to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Florida had the most residents that were arrested for charges related to the insurrection — having 47 residents arrested out of the 484 people charged in the riot.
