CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – A 38-year-old tree trimmer was shocked by a power line while working Monday.
The Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department said the accident happened on Milton Street just before 11 a.m.
The Largo man was trimming trees with a pole saw while on a ladder. It appears the ladder came in contact with the power line.
A Bayflight emergency helicopter transported the man to at Tampa General Hospital as a trauma alert.
He was identified as Ernest Harlen, 38, of Largo.
Harlen remains in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital.MORE TOP STORIES
