PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Several bridges in the Tampa Bay area were closed early Wednesday morning due to impacts from Hurricane Idalia but have since reopened.
The Sunshine Skyway Bridge has reopened. The fishing piers and rest areas remain closed at this time.
All lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge reopened on Wednesday afternoon.
The Courtney Campbell Causeway has reopened after being closed since 6 p.m., according to the Clearwater Police Department.
The Gandy Bridge is open at this time.
