TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The southbound lanes of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge were closed Sunday morning as authorities tried to convince someone to come down from his UHaul parked next to the edge.
At this time, there is little known information on the situation, but traffic cams showed a person sitting on top of a UHaul before they climbed down from the vehicle.
Police moved the UHaul afterward before reopening the bridge for southbound traffic.
We are awaiting more information from the Florida Highway Patrol.
