ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in St. Petersburg.
The St. Petersburg Police Department received a call at 9:42 a.m. about a structure fire, but when the firefighters arrived they discovered 38-year-old Tallmadge D’Elia deceased inside the residence.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of D’Elia is underway.
Detectives are not speculating on his cause of death, but do not believe it is criminal in nature.
No further information will be released until after the medical examiner’s report is complete.
