A Pinellas Park massage parlor owner is facing criminal charges after police claim she was offering sexual services in addition to massages.
Fuzi Jin, 58, is facing prostitution and operating a business for prostitution charges.
According to the arrest report, the police department received an anonymous tip that illegal activity was taking place at the “Cozy Health Spa” on Park Boulevard.
An undercover detective went to the business to check it out. According to the report, Jin offered to perform a sexual act on the detective for $40.
Dr. John Phan owns Phancore Wellness in the same plaza as the massage parlor. He specializes in chiropractic care and accupuncture. Phan is concerned if these allegations are true.
“If that was the case and if that was the truth, if those kinds of activities are there it would be very bad for business,” said Dr. Phan.
“I don’t want to be associated with them, with something like that, you know? “
Court records indicate Jin has no prior arrests in Pinellas County.
The Florida Department of Health licenses the spa and has no prior disciplinary record for that establishment.
Deputies released Jin from jail after she posted a $500 bond.
No one answered the door at her Pinellas Park home.
