PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was involved in a crash early Thursday morning in St. Petersburg.
The crash happened in the area of 34th Street North and 38th Avenue North after deputies attempted a traffic stop and the driver tried to get away, according to deputies.
The deputy performed a PIT maneuver and the driver was taken into custody, deputies said.
