People robbed at gunpoint at ATM in Pinellas Park, police say

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (WFLA) — Multiple people were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night at an ATM in Pinellas Park, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Police said in two incidents, a subject approached the victims at an ATM and threatened them with a weapon. Both incidents happened at the Achieva Credit Union along Park Boulevard.

No injuries have been reported from either incident, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon, according to police.

“At Achieva Credit Union we prioritize safety for our members and for the community that we deeply care about,” the credit union said to News Channel 8 in a statement. “In light of recent events, we are relieved that in this situation, to our knowledge, our members were safe, and no money was exchanged. Our organization is dedicated to providing a secure and supportive environment for all members. We understand that a proactive approach to safety is crucial, and we encourage our members to remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times.”

No other information was immediately available as the incidents remain under investigation.
