Police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian with serious injuries in Clearwater.
Clearwater police say a call came in just before 6 p.m. for a crash involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian near Westfield Countryside Mall.
The pedestrian was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Police believe the person may have life-threatening injuries.
The northbound lanes of Countryside Boulevard near Village Drive are currently shut down while authorities investigate. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
