LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was hospitalized in Largo Tuesday morning after someone stabbed him in the neck, according to police.
The Largo Police Department said the stabbing happened on Roosevelt Boulevard after an road rage incident between the victim and two other people, 25-year-old Andrew Armer and an underage female.
Police said that after the road rage incident, the victim went to go buy a smoothie only to be confronted by the teenager outside the store.
The teenager screamed and spit on the victim, and in response, the victim poured his smoothie on the woman’s head, according to officers.
Police said the girl spit on the victim again before Armer got out of his car and stabbed him in the neck, leaving a two-inch gash.
Armer and the teen tried to drive away, but two Largo police officers heard the commotion and stopped them, according to the department.
The LPD said the victim is expected to recover since he only had non-life-threatening injuries.
