A Pinellas woman was arrested for burglarizing a family’s home after the ankle monitor she was wearing showed she was at the house when the burglary occurred.
On Nov. 12, deputies said 29-year-old Erica Bueno, of Largo, entered a home in the 12000 block of 105th Street North, as a couple and their three children were asleep. The family reported multiple items stolen, including their vehicle, according to the affidavit.
Bueno was arrested the following day. Deputies said she had the victims’ wallet and credit cards in her possession. Data from her ankle monitor showed she was at the residence where and when the burglary occurred.
Bueno is being held at the Pinellas County Jail where she faces a charge of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling. Her bond was set to $10,000.
