ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A car seen leaving a shooting scene in St. Petersburg was found burned Monday night.
The vehicle fire occurred at 1850 Juarez Way South around 11 p.m.
Tuesday, investigators determined the vehicle is likely the white Ford Fusion used in the homicide of Malik Oliver, 19, on Sunday.
Oliver was shot in an alley in the area of 13th Ave. South and MLK Street South. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced deceased.
Police said the vehicle was reported stolen out of Orange County, Florida.
