Deputies are searching for a man accused of kidnapping a little boy in Largo.
As of Monday morning, authorities say the 2-year-old boy who was taken is safe and back with his mother.
According to investigators, the mother’s 27-year-old ex-boyfriend went to her home overnight and took off with the boy in a white Oldsmobile.
Deputies tell us he eventually got out of the car and ran away.
Several law enforcement agencies and K9 teams were out searching for the suspect but could not find him.
