DADE CITY, FL (WFLA) — Police are working a crash in which an elderly pedestrian was killed on US 301 in Dade City.
Police say 82-year-old Mary F. Waddell of Dade City was walking westbound in the crosswalk, wearing dark clothing, around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday morning when she was struck by a Hyundai Elantra.
The driver, a 55-year-old Dade City man, stayed at the scene and was not charged in the crash.
