PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A few people were taken to a hospital after a fire at the Belmont Inn and Suites in Port Richey Saturday morning, according to the Pasco County Fire and Rescue.
It happened at the Belmont Inn and Suites located at 11736 Us Highway 19 in Port Richey. Pasco firefighters responded to the report of the fire and pulled the occupants from the building.
Some occupants were taken to an area hospital to be treated. The fire has been contained to the room of the origin.
There is not information on the cause of the fire.
Fire officials continue to investigate.
