Pasco deputies: Target shoplifter arrested after violently pushing woman

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) – Deputies in Pasco County have arrested a man who they say violently pushed a woman after fleeing from a Target store with unpaid merchandise.

Authorities say Cameron Conca was in the Target store located at 2900 Little Road in New Port Richey on Saturday afternoon when he began filling his cart with items totaling several hundred dollars in value.

When he bypassed all of the store’s registers without paying for any of the items, a loss prevention manager tried stopping him from leaving as he followed Conca out into the parking lot.

The woman suffered a broken hip from the impact and is being treated.

The Sheriff’s Office says Conca has been charged with robbery and felony theft.
