It’s the surprise of a lifetime for a sister and brother in Pasco County.
Sophia Contino raised thousands of dollars for the sheriff department’s K9s with her lemonade stand so Deputy Hernandez helped her family pull off a big surprise.
Sophia and her brother thought they were meeting a new PCSO K9 but instead found out they’d be taking the sweet puppy home.
“What do you think instead of going to work every day, she comes home with us,” dad asked?
“Yes,” Sophia quickly answered.
She was smiling ear to ear after getting the news.
“We’re sure this new pup will always be an honorary PSO K9!” Pasco posted on its Facebook page.
