WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WFLA) – Authorities say no one was injured Friday when a plane flipped over while trying to land in Pasco County.

Pasco Fire Rescue was called to a reported aircraft emergency at Tampa North Flight Center in Wesley Chapel just before 3 p.m.

According to firefighters, a 26-year-old pilot in a Cessna called into the airport to report an emergency landing. The plane then flipped on landing.

Fire rescue officials say the pilot was the only person on the plane at the time. The 26-year-old was not injured and did not want to be taken to the hospital.

Authorities have not released any information on what may have caused the plane to flip.
