A Pasco County teen’s attempt to take part in one of the latest internet challenges ended up landing him behind bars, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies say 18-year-old Michael Anthony Corley was participating in a Facebook “Egg Challenge” Wednesday night. According to an arrest report, Corley mentioned he would egg his mother after getting 300 comments.
Corley later cracked an egg over his mom’s head, the arrest report says. Deputies say Corley’s mom slapped him across the back of the head in response.
At that point, deputies say Corley is accused of grabbing his mom by the shirt and throwing her onto the dining room table.
The teenager was taken to the Land O Lakes Jail and was charged with domestic battery.
