The season for giving back and helping others is underway in Pasco County.
Two deputies who were working on Thanksgiving had their meal paid for by a kind citizen. The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook shortly after it happened to thank the person.
According to the post, a field training officer and a deputy were grabbing a bite to eat at Steak ‘n Shake while working Thanksgiving night when someone else decided to foot the bill.
A picture shows a line drawn through the $18.25 receipt with the message, “Happy Thanksgiving.”
“We want to give a shout out to the citizen who paid!” the post reads. “It is much appreciated!”
