A Pasco County nursing assistant has been arrested after deputies say she molested an elderly disabled woman who was in her care.
Deputies say 51-year-old Christina Nappo was caring for the woman, who has serious brain trauma and the mentality of a 10-year-old.
According to an arrest report, Nappo used a shower head to perform inappropriate acts on the patient while teaching another CNA how to clean the woman. The arrest report states Nappo told the victim she was teaching the other nurse “how to do it right when she was not around.”
Deputies say, as a CNA, Nappo reasonably knew the victim either lacked the capacity to consent or failed to give consent.
Nappo was arrested Sunday and taken to the Land O’ Lakes Jail.
