WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WFLA) – Pasco County deputies are on scene of a shooting at a Waffle House in Wesley Chapel on Tuesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, the shooting occurred at the restaurant on 5421 Village Market around 5:36 p.m.
Deputies learned a round from a small caliber weapon, possibly a pellet gun, struck the outside glass window of the building.st
A female cook inside was struck by the pellet or glass and suffered a superficial wound to her neck.
The employee was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
There is no information on suspects at this time.
