A former transportation services manager for the Pasco County School District pleaded guilty in federal court last week, documents show.

William Napolitano appeared before Judge Amanda A. Sansone on Aug. 29.  While in court, a guilty plea was entered, the paperwork says.

Napolitano is charged with enticement/coercion of a minor and possession of child pornography.

He could face 10 years up to life in prison and a fine of $250,000 for the first charge.  The child porn charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, documents show.

Three other counts were dismissed in court, the paperworks says.

Napolitano must register as a sex offender.

Court paperwork says Napolitano “coerced and enticed a minor … to engage in sex acts and other conduct” from 2014 to 2017.  “Napolitano also produced child pornography of his having sex with [minor name redacted].  Furthermore, Napolitano collected, possessed, and distributed a large quantity of child porn–beginning on an unknown date and continuing until the execution of a federal search warrant in October 2017,” the paperwork states.

Days after his arrest, Napolitano resigned from his position at the school district.

He’s set to be sentenced in the next few weeks.
