Body found at Pasco home connected to Tarpon Springs triple homicide

Authorities have recovered a body at a home related to a triple homicide in Tarpon Springs, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday.

According to a news release, Pasco Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Forensics Anthropologists from the University of South Florida located a body buried in the yard of the residence at 10930 Norwood Avenue.

Although officials confirmed the discovery Sunday, they did not identify the remains as that of 21-year-old, Jamie Nicole Ivancic.

Authorities said Ivancic’s 71-year-old father, Richard Louis Ivancic; his wife, 59-year-old Laura Ann Ivancic; and their son, 25-year-old Nicholas James Ivancic were all found dead at their home in Tarpon Springs. Investigators believe they were killed on either Dec. 19 or 20.

Shelby John Nealy, 25, the husband of Jamie Ivancic, was arrested in connection with their deaths. He was taken into custody in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood, Ohio after being found with a car stolen from the home where the Ivancics were found dead. Authorities say he later confessed to their killings.

Nealy is currently facing at least three charges of first-degree murder, according to the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

The couple’s children, ages 2 and 3, are in the care of the department for children and families.
