SARASOTA, FL (WFLA) — A man was found dead at a home on Rita Street in Sarasota early Tuesday morning, officials say.
Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting, which occurred at 1867 Rita Street around 2:30 a.m.
The victim has been identified as James S. Sasser, 31, of 1865 Rita Street.
No further details have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
