TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — This week, we are talking to parents about do’s and don’ts when it comes to our children. Today’s question: What does a rambunctious or screaming kid say about your dining etiquette?
Diners we spoke to say it depends.
“If they’re well behaved it’s not that big of a deal,” said diner Kevin Jones.
Others believe it’s the parent’s job to dish out the discipline or take your child outside, saying nobody wants pays good money to eat a nice meal out, only to hear a child crying in the background.
“I definitely think depending on the tantrum. If it’s extreme, then definitely take them outside, because that’s disrupting other customers,” said diner Jordin Gignac.
Some restaurants are causing controversy by banning kids, claiming until parents can get a handle on misbehaved children, they’ll have to find somewhere else to dine.
