TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Ever get the feeling there’s not enough time in the day to get everything done? We understand the daily struggle of trying to fit a workout into a jam-packed schedule.
News Channel 8’s Lila Gross spoke with fitness training expert Mary Baum, who showed us how busy people can squeeze in a quick workout without going to the gym.
Baum focused on five key parts of your body to begin your workout regimen. If you want to see how to do each exercise, watch the video above (she even includes her baby in the workout!)
Dips: These will work out your chest and arms. Be sure to keep your elbows close to your body.
Push-ups: This basic exercise work out your chest, arms and core. Squeeze those abs for best results.
Lunges: Get moving and work out your glutes and legs. You’re aiming for your legs to create a perfect 90-degree angle.
Leg Lifts: This one is a little tougher, but will work out your core. Remember to continually be pushing your lower back into the ground to avoid injury.
Squats: These fan favorites will work out your glutes and legs. Sit all the way back in your imaginary chair with your feet and knees aligned.
Try these out and share your results with us. Follow New’s Channel 8’s Lila Gross for more workout tips and social media stories.
