TAMPA, Fla. (CNN) – American Airlines says 115 flights will be canceled per day through Sept. 3.
This is to accommodate the grounded Boeing 737 Max planes.
Initially, American Airlines had canceled all flights using those jets until Aug. 19. But, now they’ve extended that until Sept. 3.
The entire Boeing 737 Max fleet has been grounded since March after a software issue caused two fatal crashes killing 346 people.
Boeing says it’s been fixed, but federal agencies still need to sign off on it.
