TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The body of missing teen, Brandon Sun, was found Wednesday afternoon near the Skyway Fishing Pier.
Police say the 16-year-old Tampa boy went missing around 2 a.m. Tuesday after hanging out with his friends in the Sunshine Skyway Bridge area Monday night.
According to his friends, Brandon was using drugs and they were unable to find him when he walked away from the group.
His mother contacted Tampa Police on Tuesday to report him missing and told police he had a history of running away.
