Update- Richard A. Hippensteel has been found
HAINES CITY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing and endangered man who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease.
84-year-old Richard A. Hippensteel left his home between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
Police say he was driving a white 2013 Kia Sorrento SUV, with FL handicap tag Y0SGM. There is a “Project 3:16” sticker next to the tag.
Richard is 6′ tall, approximately 210 lbs. with grey hair, a goatee, and brown eyes. It is not known what he is wearing.
