PREVIOUS STORY: BRADENTON, FL (WFLA) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 10-year-old girl from Bradenton.
Emma Mischaud is described as a white female, 4 feet 10 inches tall, 60 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen in the area of 4000 47th Street West. She was last seen wearing a blue sundress and blue reading glasses.
Police say the girl may be in the company of her mother, 46-year-old Suzanne Knight.
Bradenton Police say they responded to the Palm Cove Apartments, learning that Knight had an argument with other family members and drove away in her vehicle at a high rate of speed almost striking another family member, and took her daughter Emma with her.
Knight is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a blue T-shirt and gray sweat pants.
They may be traveling in a 2016 red Toyota RAV4, Connecticut tag number AD23238.
Police say Knight may be heading back to Connecticut where she has family.
