The actor who played “Alf” has died at age 76, CNN reports.
Michu Meszaros suffered a stroke Thursday, his manager told CNN. In addition to starring in the 1980s sitcom, Meszaros appeared in “Dear John,” “H.R. Pufnstuf,” and the movies “Look Who’s Talking” and “Big Top Pee-wee.”
Meszaros didn’t voice Alf but wore a full body suit to play him.
He was 33 inches tall. Meszaros was born in Hungary and joined the circus in 1973.
