LARGO, FL (WFLA) — Police in Largo are asking for the public’s help in solving the mystery of a man found dead in a lake.
Police say they were called to the 900 block of 7th Street NW for a report of a body in a nearby lake on Wednesday afternoon around 2:23 p.m. There, detectives says they discovered the body of 34-year-old Lucas Andrews, a local resident.
Though the cause of death remains under investigation, there were no obvious signs of trauma, police say,
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance with any information that may identify Andrews’ last known whereabouts and activities prior to his body being discovered. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Largo Police Department at 727-587-6730.
