Mandatory evacuation order lifted for Pasco’s Worthington apartments

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A mandatory evacuation order has been lifted for residents of the Worthington Court Apartment complex. The complex is located at Rowan Road and State Road 54 in New Port Richey.

Crews have restored power to the complex.

The Anclote River is receding, although slowly. It is at a moderate flood stage, officials said.

Some Pasco County residents are still under mandatory evacuation areas. The utilities have been turned off in these communities because of flooding. The affected areas are:

People who have evacuated are advised to stay with family and friends. If that’s not possible, you can be transported to the Mike Fasano Regional Hurricane Shelter in Hudson. Call Pasco County Customer Service at (727) 847-2411, or 911 in the case of an emergency, if you need assistance. “If you evacuate, make sure you bring your ID, money, any medicines and pets,” officials said.
