BARTOW, Fla. (WFLA) — Three schools were placed on lockdown Thursday morning after an unconfirmed threat was received. As of 11 a.m. the lockdown has been lifted at all schools.
Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Bartow Police officers are responding to Bartow High School, Summerlin Academy and the International Baccalaureate School at Bartow High after a bomb threat was received, according to Bartow Police.
Police investigated the incident and say no device was located. The scenes are clear.
