Shred your documents for FREE at ‘8 On Your Side’ Shred-A-Thon

Ready, set, SHRED!

8 On Your Side is working hard to keep you and your family safe with a FREE Shred-A-Thon in April.

You can bring up to 8 boxes of personal documents including paper and even electronic devices – electronic disposal is new this year courtesy of Stream Recycling!

Come on out to the Shred-A-Thon from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 14 at the North Parking Lot of Raymond James Stadium, which is located at 4201 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.

Due to the overwhelming response from last year’s event, we will be closing the gates at noon so we can make sure everyone gets to the shredder before the event is over. If you are in line at noon, you will be able to shred what you’ve read.

You’ll also be able to visit the partner fan area to have your photo taken with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders and Captain Fear.

All that shredding making you hungry? Delicious food trucks will be onsite to provide bites and refreshments.

Everyone who comes out will receive a goody bag from our friends at AAA, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Crimestoppers, A&B Insurance and Suncoast Hyundai Dealers.

Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to enter-to-win a Royal Caribbean cruise onsite from AAA.

Your Suncoast Hyundai dealers will be giving away a $500 visa gift card and our local DACCO representatives will be on hand to collect donations to help keep our communities drug free!

You’ll even get to meet some of the shining WFLA News Channel 8 personalities.

News Channel 8 anchors and reporters, in addition to the hosts of Daytime, will be on-hand to meet and greet viewers and take pictures with you to share on your social media pages.

So make sure you take the time to swing by the News Channel 8 and Great 38 booths to say hello!
