Rep. Kathy Castor files health legislation

U.S. Rep. Kathey Castor released details Thursday about her ENROLL Act, which would restore funding for health care Navigators who help people find affordable, quality health care plans that work for them in the HealthCare.gov Marketplace.

Castor said the funding would be especially beneficial at the University of South Florida which has consistently won some of the largest Navigator grants in the United States.

Over 1.7 million Floridians – more than any other state – signed up for a marketplace policy last year, often with the help of a Navigator, according to Castor’s office.

Castor represents the 14th Congressional District of Florida.
