An unexpected visitor caused a bit of a ruckus outside a house in Bradenton overnight.
On Sunday morning, Mike Charbonneau says his wife woke up and noticed their patio furniture was pushed up against the front door of their home in the Country Creek subdivision. So he decided to go back and check the Nest security camera they have outside.
While he was looking through the video, Charbonneau found out what happened: An alligator walked onto their patio and got caught in some of their furniture.
The video shows the gator crawl toward the front door, bringing a piece of furniture with him. He’s then seen thrashing around to free himself.
Once free, the gator hangs out for a minute before retreating back to the side of the home where he came from. But just moments later, he crawls back to the front door.
The gator eventually turns and walks off into the front yard.
Charbonneau tells News Channel 8 their “visitor” showed up around 1:40 a.m. and spent less than three minutes outside their house. None of the furniture was damaged.
