The Manatee County Sheriffs Office has arrested a man they say shot another man at a gathering of people playing video games.
The sheriff’s office says the incident happened at 17th Ave Drive East in Palmetto near Memphis Road when 28-year-old Benjamin Lang shot the victim after an unknown dispute out front of the residence playing video games.
Lang then fled the scene Friday night. A warrant was issued for Lang Saturday night and he turned himself in at the Manatee County Jail.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Lang has been charged with Murder.
