The red tide crisis has not only killed tons of sea life, but it’s also caused many local businesses to suffer. Starting today, there will be two locations that will offer financial relief to small business owners.
The Small Business Administration will help business owners who have been impacted by the devastation of red tide.
Representatives will help people fill out applications for disaster loans and other financial assistance.
Business owners will also be able to document their financial losses.
The SBA will offer help at these two locations
Manatee County
The Manatee County Island Branch Library will open today at 11. In the future the normal hours will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sarasota County
Help will be available at 4430 South Lockwood Road. Those hours will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
No appointments are necessary.
