AVON PARK, Fla. (WFLA) – A man was critically injured when he was hit by a mail truck in Highlands County on Wednesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, the man was struck in Avon Park and was flown to a regional hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
No further information was immediately released.
