Cheers, beer lovers – Saturday is National Beer Day!

If you’re trying to figure out how to celebrate this “holiday,” look no further. Here are some of the events and specials from breweries and bars around the Tampa Bay area.

3 Daughters Brewing (222 22nd St. S, St. Petersburg)

The St. Petersburg brewery is tapping three special release small-batch brews throughout the day: A Peanut Butter Chocolate Porter, a Cherry Lime Berliner and a Sweet Heat Maple Brown Ale. 

81Bay Brewing Company (4465 W Gandy Blvd. #600, Tampa):

81Bay is hosting a dual celebration: A birthday party for Mittens, the brewery’s favorite cat, along with a National Beer Day celebration. The brewery will have free cake and party hats, custom “Mittens” merchandise, cat and beer henna tattoos and special beer releases. They will also be collecting donations for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and are offering 10 percent off drafts for those who donate items.

Bootleggers Brewing Company (652 Oakfield Dr., Brandon):

Bootleggers will tap its new Rose’ Saison in honor of National Beer Day. They are holding an event from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

St. Petersburg Brewing Company (544 1st Ave. N, St. Petersburg):

St. Petersburg Brewing Company’s fourth anniversary just happens to fall on National Beer Day. The brewery is hosting a party starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday featuring five new beers. Order one of the new releases and get a free beer cupcake.

Zephyrhills Brewing Company (38530 5th Ave., Zephyrhills):

From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Zephyrhills Brewing Company is holding a “hoppy hour” and offering 20 percent off all draft beer and cider.

Tampa Bay Rowdies/MacDintons St. Pete:

The Rowdies host the Ottawa Fury at Al Lang Stadium at 7:30 p.m. After the game, you can take your ticket stub to the MacDinton’s located at 242 1st Ave. N in St. Petersburg and get one free beer.

World of Beer (402 S Howard Ave., Tampa):

From 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., World of Beer will personalize your image on a beer using its Ripple machine. If you post it on social media, you get a free beer shot.

Yard of Ale (406 S Howard Ave., Tampa):

From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Yard of Ale, buy one beer and get your second one on the house.

Pour Taproom (225 2nd Ave. N, St. Pete):

Pour Taproom in St. Petersburg is hosting its first-ever National Beery Day Olympics. Teams of four will pay $60 to compete in games for prizes. The $60 covers all of the beer needed for the event. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the games begin at 6 p.m.

American Social (601 S Harbour Island Blvd. Suite 107, Tampa):

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., beers are just $5 at American Social in honor of National Beer Day.

Caddy’s on Central (217 Central Ave., St. Petersburg):

Caddy’s is offering $1 off beer all day.
